Matthew Clifton is a devoted husband to his wife Christine, and together they have four children. Matthew has been a Colquitt County Native since 1987. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

He served as a Clinical Pharmacist for 9 years, specializing in Oncology, Neonatology, and sterile compounding, before becoming the Director of Pharmacy at Colquitt Regional in 2012. He helped the hospital add life-changing services such as Radiation and Gynecologic Oncology services.

In 2023 Matthew was appointed Vice President of Operations/ Ancillary Services at Colquitt Regional. He has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and Hope house.

 

He is a member of the UGA Archway Partnership of Colquitt County and on the board for the Colquitt County Career Achievement Award. Matthew and his family are members of the First Baptist Church of Moultrie, where Matthew serves as a deacon and a member of the Finance Committee and Choir.
